- Southern California Edison Company (SCE) proposes to construct a new 66/12 kV low profile substation, including two 28 megavolt-ampere (MVA) transformers, two 4.8 megavolt-ampere reactive (MVAR) 12 kV capacitor banks, and six 12 kV distribution lines. The project would include approximately 1,200 feet of underground 66 kV subtransmission lines, as well as new fiber optic cable and communication equipment to connect the substation to SCE's existing telecommunication system.
