Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-RIV-39893-R6), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the Project Applicant, the City of Wildomar. The Project is limited to impacts associated with the unnamed tributaries to Bundy Canyon Creek by grading, paving of existing and new roadbed to widen the road to include four 12-foot-wide travel lanes, a 14-foot-wide center median for turning movements, two 8-foot-wide outside shoulders, relocating utilities, and extending and/or replacing existing cross culverts under the current roadway. The Project will temporarily impact 0.31 acres and permanently impact 0.08 acres of streambed, bank, and channel. To compensate for temporary impacts, the impacted areas will be restored to pre-project conditions or better. To compensate for the remaining permanent impacts of 0.08-acres of stream bed, bank, and channel, through either 1) the acquisition, and perpetual conservation and management of a “Mitigation Site”, or several mitigation sites, containing no less than 0.16 acres of streambed and stream associated habitat within Riverside County or 2) acquisition of no less than 0.08-acres of Reestablishment credits and 0.08 acres of Rehabilitation credits through Riverpark Mitigation Bank, or other CDFW- approved mitigation bank within Western Riverside County.
