Document Description
DFG is intending to execute a Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (SAA #1600-2011-0382-R5) to the Permittee, California Department of Transportation, District 11, for the construction of a 2:1 fill slope on the south side of East Palomar Street adjacent to Interstate 805 (I-805), extension of a 48 inch diameter culvert required by the additional fill from the new slope, rock slope protection at the outlet of the culvert, and two bioretention cells and two biofiltration swales. The project will permanently impact 0.04 acres of freshwater (cattail) marsh and has provided compensatory mitigation through the purchase of 0.04 acres of credit at the Rancho Jamul Mitigation Blank.
