Request by Plains Exploration and Production Company for a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the construction of a produced water reclamation facility at their Arroyo Grande Oil Field including the following components: constrruction of a 20,000 barrel per day (2.5 acre feet per day or 840,000 gallon per day) water treatment / reclamation facility including five water tanks, three air stripping towers two heat exchangers, construction of water transmission pipelines, creation of tempering ponds within an existing dry pond, relocation of existing pipelines within the proposed footprint of the water treatment / reclamation facility including a new flare location, placement of a reclaimed water outfall structure on an existing rip-rap bank along Pismo Creek, an approximately 100 foot by 150 foot construction staging area and associated grading activities.
