Document Description
The site was historically used as a streetcar repair station during the operation of the Yellow Line. As the region shifed away from light rail and began to increasingly utilize buses in the early 1960s, the Red and Yellow Lines were discontinued. The City is proposing to construct a 9-acre wetlands park at this site to improve area stormwater quality and to provide recreational space for the surrounding community. A portion of flows from a local storm drain would be routed to the project site and treated prior to discharge to the wetlands.
