Under the California Health and Safety Code, section 25356.1, the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) proposes to approve a surface removal action of munitions explosives of concern/unexploded ordinance at Mission Trails Regional in Former Camp Elliott, a former military facility. The project activities include: investigation by magnetometer, detonation in place if MEC/UXO are found and limited vegetation trimming.
