Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2015-0058-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the County of San Bernardino Department of Public Works. The project is limited to the construction of a new 58-foot wide bridge, minor improvements to Garnet Street within 200 feet north and south of the new bridge; and construction staging areas. Partially grouted stone rip rap will be constructed at side slopes through the proposed bridge. Construction of the project will impact a total of 2.43 acres of CDFW jurisdictional areas consisting of temporary impacts to 2.21 acres of streambed and Riversidian Alluvial Fan Sage Scrub (RAFSS), as well as permanent impacts to 0.22 acre of streambed and RAFSS. Additionally, 0.22 acre of below-grade partially-grouted stone riprap will be placed at side slopes.
