Document Description
The East Bay Regional Park District proposes to repair failing outboard and inboard levees at Hayward Regional Shoreline, a 1,684-acre parkland within the City of Hayward, on the southeastern shoreline of the San Francisco Bay. Large sections of exposed shoreline, marsh and interior basin levees along the tide, storm and wind events. In recent years, waves have overtopped shoreline levees closing portions of Hayward Regional Shoreline and causing severe erosion and dangerously undercutting the levees.
