Document Description
On October 8, 2013, the City and Sunset Development Company entered into a Memorandum of Understanding for the construction of a new City Hall in Central Park in exchange for the development rights to the former City Hall site within the City Center Project Sunset Development rights to the former City Hall site within the City Center Project. Sunset Development Company, pursuant to Section 2(a)(1) of the MOU, has applied for modification to the approved City Center Project and conditions of approval to replace the previously approved City Hall and Library with office uses. Additionally, the City Center Project's office/flex retail space will be reduced by 50,142 square feet to ensure that the combined square footage of City Center and the future City Hall in Central Park does not exceed the total square footage for the City Center Project approved in 2007. No physical changes are proposed to the approved City Center site plans or architecture at this time.
