Document Description
The proposed project would widen California Avenue, between Bison Avenue and Academy Way, to convert the existing two-lane road into a four-lane road, with two lanes in each direction and a center median. A traffic signal and left-turn pockets will be installed at the intersection of California Avenue/Academy Way, to improve the level of service. Right-turn lanes will be added within improved and/or cleared right-of-way, at the intersection of California and Bison, to improve traffic flow. A striped bicycle lane will be provided along the northbound side of the street.
