Document Description
The Whitegates Reservoir No. 1 Project (Project) consists of the construction of a 5.0 million gallon (MG) underground reservoir, underground pump station, auxiliary equipment, and service roads on a 2.4 acre site. In addition, approx. 2,400 ft. of new pipeline would be constructed in new and existing roadways and an overflow/drain would be constructed. The location of the proposed Project in the City of Riverside (City) is shown in figure 1. The City's Water System Master Plan, approved in 2005, identified the need for 9.0 MG to meet the existing and future potable water storage need of users in the Whitegates service area. The proposed Project would assist with that need by serving an estimated population of 10,000 within a portion of the Whitegates area.
