The Proposed Verano Elementary School site (Project) is located in the northwest corner of Verano Street and Cataba Street in the City of Victorville, California. The project site is surrounded by vacant land that is in various states of residential development. There is existing single family residential located approx. 0.5 mile north of the site, north of Eucalyptus Street. Regional access to the Project site is provided via I-15 (the Mojave Freeway), located 12 miles to the southeast.
