The project would construct a second 48 inch water supply pipeline with appurtenant facilities from the South Portal of Tecolote Tunnel to the Corona Del Mar WTP to increase operational flexibility, reliability (ability to perform regularly scheduled inspections and maintenance to one pipeline while second is operational), and capacity to meet peak demands.
