Document Description
The proposed project includes the construction of 1,207 residential units, regional park space, open areas/pedestrian linkages, a mixed use village, and streets/right-of-way. Also, a landscaped retention basin is proposed along the north side of the site boundary. The project includes an option to include an 8-acre church site. Under this scenario, the number of residential units would be decreased to 1,120. The project includes approval of annexation into the City of Calexico by the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) as well as a General Plan Amendment, Pre-Zoning, and Tentative Tract Map Approval by the City of Calexico. Additionally, the project will require encroachment permits from Caltrans and Imperial Irrigation District.
