Document Description
The project is a greensand filtration system to remove iron and manganese to concentrations below their respective drinking water Maximum Contaiminant Levels (MCL). The total project area will not exceed 100 square feet. Backwash from the gensand filter will contain silt and oxidized iron and manganese which will be disposed of in a subsurface leach field.
