Document Description
Repaint the historic Ford House, and remove existing lead-based paint surfaces. Lead abatement will be conducted by a certified, licensed contractor. Before lead abatement is initiated, representative samples of existing paint layers will be saved, labeled, and archived for future reference and study. All painting, wood and metal repair will match historic and will conform to the guidelines set forth in the "Secretary of the Interior Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties" (Weeks and Grimmer). No sensitive natural or cultural resources will be impacted as a result of this project.
