Project consists of minor alteration of existing public facilities, structures and topograohic features involving no expansion of use beyond current levels; construction and installation of a limited number of new small facilities; minor alterations in the condition of land that does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees; and construction on a historic building that will not adversely affect its historic significance; included as "fence building and handicap access", "interpretive panels, signs, fencing and utility connections", "trail construction", and a"activities affecting a historic resource in a manner consistent with the secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of historic Properties with Guidelines for Preserving, Rehabilitating, Restoring and reconstructing Historic Buildings (Weeks and grimmer, 1995); on the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR Section 15300.4.
