The main goal of this study is to provide guidance in the management of the lands and resources administered by the El Centro Field Office in Eastern San Diego County that will achieve the following: Address conflicts between motorized, mechanized and non-motorized/non-mechanized recreationists; protect sensitive natural and cultural resources from impacts due to recreational use, livestock grazing and other land uses; provide guidance for renewable energy development; and address other issues raised during the scoping process.
