The project proposes the widening of the floodplain, removal of debris, rip-rap, and bridge abutments, removal of non-native species, revegetation using native plant species, configuration of the floodplain to enhance riparian and aquatic habitat, activities to enhance the stream roughness for aquatic habitat, and additional space for a recreational trail system on Yreka Creek.
