- The Elk County Water District (ECWD) filed an application to appropriate water with the State Water Resources Control Board on June 8, 1995. Under Application 30451, ECWD will continue to divert 0.097 cubic foot per second year round from Greenwood Creek Underflow tributary to Pacific Ocean with an annual limit of 40.31 acre-feet. The diversion season is January 1 to December 31.
