NOTE: JD consists of Neg. Dec. & FONSI The project would accommodate replacement and extensions of industrial wastewater effluent lines (carrying citrus food processing effluent) and land application sites for disposal of this effluent. This environmental review is an amendment to an environmental assessment (EA) prepared in 2007 for the CCPI/VitaPakt CDBG project. The 2007 EA anticipated handling and processing of dairy effluent, and various properties for land application located north of Highway 137 (Tulare/Lindsay Highway). The project scope has been reduced (from approximately 2,730 acres to approximately 450 acres of land application area), by removing dairy-related project components.
