Document Description
The Department of Health Services (DHS) has determined that groundwater produced at the Rose Canyon Wellfield is under the direct influence of surface water, and is therefore subject to USEPA's Surface Water Treatment Rule. As a result, the District must provide filtration to protect against microbiological contaminants. The project involves the construction of additional treatment facilities at the Rose and Lang groundwater wells through dual media pressure filtration system followed by UV and chlorine disinfection.
