An increase in the City of Salinas' Sphere of Influence to the northeast by approximately 3,347 acres and an annexation of approximately 2,388 acres of this area to the City and the Monterey County Resource Conservation District. The annexation will also be detached from the Salinas Rural Fire Prevention District and the Monterey County Resource Conservation District. The annexation would accommodate approximately 11,485 dwellings, 4.0 million square feet of commercial/retail/mixed use and public/semi-public uses over the next 20 +/- years. (LAFCO File 07-05)
