Document Description
Remove California bay laurel (Umbellularia california), the principal host plant supporting sporulation of Phytophthora remorum, the organism that causes Sudden Oak Death, from an area between the South Fork Eel River and the Avenue of the Giants in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. It is anticipated that by removing California bay laurel throughout the project area that the spread of the pathogen north will be allowed.
