The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) would grant a permit to the Cucamonga Valley Water District to locate a portable nitrate removal system on Metropolitan-owned lands. The portable nitrate removal system would be temporarily located on the parcel in order to treat groundwater supplies utilized by the Cucamonga Valley Water District during a Metropolitan pipeline shutdown.
