Document Description
The project will restore storm damage to Santiago Creek embankment and TWS retaining walls which resulted from the winter flooding in 2005, declared an emergency by Governor Schwarzenegger under Emergency Declaration FEMA 1577-DR and FEMA 1585-DR for the County of Orange. The footing of the retaining walls will be restored and the eroded area behind them will be filled with native soil, aggregate and rip rap. The bank in the restored area will be fronted with rip rap to avoid future erosion in normal-year storms.
