Document Description
A Modification and Extension to a previously approved and modified Coastal Development Permit, Conditional Use Permit and Special Permit. The original permits included creating the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center as well as beach and dune restoration and trail work on ~65 acres. The Modification will allow the restoration and trail work on an additional57 acres known as "Celestr" property acquired by the Manila Community Services District. This work would be performed in 2 phases. The project also includes a modification to the Special Permitt to allow the removal od 10 eucalyptus trees, 2 non-native pine trees and 7 Monterey cypress trees all over 12 inches in diameter. The area of removal will be planted with native trees and shrubs. A Coastal Development Permit is required for all development within the Coastal Zone.
