Document Description
The project is limited to the replacement of an 18 inch welded steel pipeline that provides irrigation and domestic water service to the Park and Golf Course. The project will include the construction of a new ductile iron pipeline in Tarshes Drive from California Avenue to Ancil Hoffman Park Golf Course, irrigation pump station facility. The pipeline will cross Carmichael Creek in two locations. The pipeline crossings of the creek will be installed via open cut excavation during the summer months when the creek is dry. The approximate volume of concrete to encase the pipeline is 1,2154 cf (45 cy) with ~135 linear ft of ductile iron pipe crossing the creek (70 ft at Xing 1 and 65 ft at Xing 2). The remaining pipeline trench will be backfilled with native material compacted to 90%.
