Document Description
The proposed project is a component of the existing groundwater containment and treatment program undertaken through a cooperative agreement between Aerojet and Carmichael Water District (CWD). In response to groundwater contamination, the proposed project is designed to arrest the spread of a contamination plume, thereby protecting the downgradient quality of the aquifer, remediating the contaminated protions of the acquifer, and preventign additional impacts to public drinking water supply wells, including existing CWD wells.
