Document Description
LUSD is proposing the expansion of its existing Lockeford Elementary School facility. The expansion site would be located to the northwest of the existing school on 2.8 acres of vacant land. The proposed expansion would include the construction of a new administration building, two classroom buildings accommodating approximately five classrooms each, and a new multi-purpose and kitchen building. The remainder of the expansion area would be developed with new on-site parking and circulation areas to accommodate additional demands associated with expanded student capacity. The perimeter of the proposed expansion would be fenced for safety and security. The school site will be bounded by County streets on the west and east sides. Low maintenance landscaping is planned for aesthetic quality along the borders of the site.
