The District maintains these dam facilities to ensure public safety and adequate system functionally, and to ensure safe and reliable reservoir operation and water delivery. A number of different maintenance activities must be performed on the dam facilities, both on a defined schedule as preventative maintenance and on an as needed basis as corrective maintenance.
