Document Description
The proposed project consists of the execution of an agreement between the Santa Clara Valley Water District and the Department of Water Resources for the transfer of up to 50,000 acre-feet of water to Department of Water Resources for the Environmental Water Account. The Santa Clara Valley Water District will also provide Department of Water Resources the option to store up to 20,000 acre-feet of water in Santa Clara Valley Water District's Semitropic Water Storage District's groundwater bank. The water transfer agreement will become effective upon execution and will expire on December 31, 2007.
