Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2007-0404-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Department of Water Resources. DWR intends to mitigate for the loss of 28.5 acres of riparian forest in the Tisdale Bypass at a 3:1 ratio by constructing 85.5 acres of forested riparian habitat. Five acres will be constructed on-site in the Tisdale Bypass and the remaining 80.5 acres will be constructed at the Colusa SRA. DWR is planting an additional 23+ acres of riparian forest off-site at the Colusa SRA for consideration as advanced mitigation for future maintenance projects.
