Document Description
The Trails Master Plan is a long-range trail planning document that will be used in guiding the creation and maintenance of a citywide trail network. The Plan contains guidelines for the design and construction of trails as well as the maintenance and management of trails. The Plan identifies existing trails in the City and provides guidance on the preferred location of new trails. The Master Plan is not intended to show precise alignments or locations of physical improvements. Precise locations will be developed on a case-by-case basis following appropriate review procedures. The Plan identifies a trail network in the City serving virtually every neighborhood, and providing connections to activity centers (community centers, parks, and civic facilities) as well as nearby regional parks and open spaces. The trail network will also provide connections to the regional trails in the area.
