The applicant (Public Storage) has filed three separate applications with the City of Irvine requesting the approval of a General Plan Amendment, Zone Change, and a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the construction of a new two-level mini-storage building (115,894 square feet) and other site improvements. The approval of these actions would permit the construction of the new building which includes a subterranean (below grade) level of storage units with an upper level that reaches 13 feet 8-inches above existing grade at the roof line.
