Document Description
A proposal by the County Public Works Department to reclaim and restore a former sand and gravel surface mine adjacent to the Huasna River. The project involves removal of an approximate 1.15 acre asphalt pad, removal of isolated asphalt debris from within the Huasna River, and revegetation of the mine site. The project will result in the disturbance of an approximate 1.15 acre area, within a 25 acre County owned parcel, in the Agriculture land use category. The project is located approximately 1/4 mile north of Huasna Townsite Road, approximately 3 miles south of the community of Huasna, southeast of the City of Arroyo Grande.
