The proposed project consists of a series of stormwater drainage improvements that would be implemented over time. The basic objectives of the project include:
- Remedy flooding in areas identified in the draft Storm Water Drainage Master Plan (2006),
- Improve runoff water quality as it enters Arroyo Grande Creek,
- Remedy existing creek bank erosion sites (dependent on the selected stormdrain outfall point), and
- Maintain the ongoing viability of existing agricultural operations and protect prime agricultural soils.
