Document Description
CDFW has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement no. 1600-2015-0187-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the fish and game code to the project applicant, Signalized Intersection West, LLC (the Permittee) as represented by Ben Allen. The project consists of the minor widening and improvements to an existing dirt roadway in order to comply with County roadway standards. The project will require the installation of two new culverts, the removal of on existing culvert and impacts to tributaries located immediately adjacent to the roadway due to the widening of the roadway. The new culverts have been designed and located so that their installation does not directly impact jurisdictional tributaries. With the exception of the one existing culvert to be removed, all other existing culverts will remain. Some minor vegetation removal or other maintenance activities around the existing culverts may be required, therefor; minor impacts to the abutting drainages have been identified. Total impacts to jurisdictional areas includes: 0.0154 acres of impact to tributaries, and 0.025 acres of impacts to riparian wetlands. Compensatory mitigation for loss of jurisdictional areas will be through purchase of creation credits at the Meridian Ranch Mitigation Bank.
