The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Kern County Water Agency, represented by Eric Averett, ID4 Manager. The applicant proposes to install a water pipeline beneath the bed of the Kern River to convey water from the Carrier Canal south of the river to the Calloway Canal north of the river.
