CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2018-0042-R5, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of LA. The purpose of the Glendale Blvd-Hyperion Avenue Complex of Bridges 1 project is to seismically retrofit bridges, enhance safety, and improve traffic operations. the project is limited to: widening and retrofitting the historic northbound and southbound Glendale Blvd Bridge; retrofitting the historic Hyperion Blvd Bridge; and re-using the "Red Car Bridge" piers and abutments to create a pedestrian bridge.
