The project proposes to demolish and replace the existing Outpost Food Services Building with a new facility. The existing building (4,195 GSF) was constructed in 1975 as a food service facility to serve smaller campus population. The replacement building (8,800 GSF) will include indoor seating for 150, outdoor seating for 100, a 1,500 square feet convenience store, hot and cold food preparation lines, walk-in refrigerators and freezer, restrooms and a loading dock. The structure will be a single-story building with sustainable building features. The project includes landscape improvements, pedestrian lighting and seating areas with benches.
