Document Description
The 2007 Amendment proposes to add territory to the area included within the City of Imperial Redevelopment Project. The primary objective of the 2007 Amendment is to provide for a variety of possible redevelopment activities pursuant to the California Community Redevelopment Law, within the added territory, and to help further similar redevelopment activities within the project. Such activities could include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: provision of affordable housing, construction and/or rehabilitation of structures; infrastructure upgrades for wastewater, drainage, water and circulation systems, community facilities improvements, and other upgrades. While not proposed as specific projects at this time, these actions are possible activities that may be undertaken within the added territory over the 30-year effective life of the Redevelopment Plan, as proposed to be amended by the 2007 Amendment.
