Document Description
The purpose of the 2007 Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project Area No. 1 is to add territory to the area included within the project. Implementation of the Amended Plan by the Agency will help enable it to achieve these objectives: i) to increase employment opportunities by helping attract new, and grow existing businesses; ii) to improve public infrastructure and community facilities; iii) to increase and improve the supply of affordable housing for eligible persons and facilities; and iv) to generally improve the quality of life for residents, business owners, tenants, and property owners within the Added Territory, specifically, the Amended Project Area, generally, and the City overall.
