Document Description
The subject property consists of nine (9) parcels of land, encompassing approximately 1,100 acres. These land uses are consistent with the Placer County General Plan's land use designations and zoning as well as surrounding land uses, which include rural residential, grazing, rice field production, recreation and aggregate mining. The land that is the subject of this request will accommodate that Tribe's need to build 110 single family homes for its members. This trust acquisition would enable the Tribe to provide members with housing and community facilities, creating a central meeting place for tribal activities in a private setting.
Proposed Activity: Housing, associated community facilities, including a community, tribal school, maintenance facilities and administrative offices.
