Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a Safety Project to modify super elevation and place Open Graded Friction Course (OGFC) in Humboldt County on SR-101. The project will modify the super elevation by grinding pavement and placing dense graded asphalt concrete in the curve at PM R9.5/R9.7, then pave OGFC the entire length of the project, place ground-in rumble strip along the centerline and shoulders, reconstruct existing metal beam guard rails (MBGR) and end treatments.
