Document Description
The proposed project will involve expanding and upgrade the WWTP to increase capacity from 1.0 million gallon per day (mgd) to 1.9 mgd, and address violations of effluent limitations. The Project involves: 1) modifying and upgrading the headworks with course and fine screens, 2) installing a Parhshall flume and bio-filters, 3) constructing a return activated sludge and waste activated sludge pump station, 4) installing two gravity belt filter presses, 5) upgrading the operations center building, 6) installing a supervisory control and data acquisition system, 7) removing the Hatch Road influent pump station and associated force main, 8) installing a 36-inch gravity sewer to extend approximately one mile from Hatch Road to the new influent pump station, 9) abandoning percolation ponds seven through ten, 10) rehabilitation and grading percolation ponds five and six, and 11) constructing new percolation ponds.
