Document Description
The proposed project involves a General Plan Amendment, Zone Change, Local Coastal Program Amendment, Major Redevelopment Permit, Site Development Plan and Coastal Development Permit for the demolition of an existing 28 room hotel, 1125 square foot restaurant and a single family residence to allow for the construction of a three-story 104 room hotel with underground parking. The General Plan Amendment is to change the Land Use designation from Residential High Density (RH) to Travel/Recreation Commercial (TR) on the easterly portion of the project. The project proposes to construct a Marriott - Spring Hill Suites hotel on the site. The hotel will contain 104 rooms and suites totaling 62,354 square feet. 125 underground parking spaces are proposed.
