Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under Division 4.5, California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Chapter 20 has issued a renewed Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Hazardous Waste Facility Operating and Post-Closure Permit (Permit) for the Chevron Products Company, El Segundo Refinery (Chevron) facility (Facility). DTSC prepared an addendum to an adopted Negative Declaration to renew the existing Permit to authorize the ongoing storage, treatment, and transfer of hazardous waste and ongoing management and care of the closed Landfarm unit at the Facility for an additional ten years. DTSC received a Permit Application for the Facility as authorized by the California Health and Safety Code, Chapter 6.5. The Facility is located at 324 West El Segundo Boulevard, El Segundo, CA 90245 and operates under a current Permit. Chevron requests a permit renewal to continue current operations and post-closure activities at the Facility. The Hazardous Waste Management Units (HWMUs) at the Facility include both operational and post-closure units.
