The proposed project is the development of a replacement high school for Middle College High School, currently located in portable buildings on the Los Angeles Southwest College campus. Specifically, the proposed project involves the planning of the South Region High School No. 6 project, acquisition of two parcels, demolition of existing structures, construction of approximately 40,000 square feet of new building space in a single multi-story building, and operation of approximately 351 two-semester seats serving grades 9 through 12. The proposed facility would include 13 classrooms, a library, a multi-purpose room, administration offices, and a food service area.
