Document Description
Upgrade to existing central plant facility for energy efficiency and create a new well pump building (286 sf). This project will add roof top Photo Voltaic (PV) arrays on the top of 2 existing PE buildings to increase on-campus generating electrical capacity. All buildings are located in the center of campus and the University will be the beneficiary.

Reasons for Exemption
This project consists solely of component upgrades to the existing campus central plant facility. No expansion or addition of the central plant building is required. The project also provides for a new structure (13' x 22') to house well and pump equipment and install PV arrays on the roofs of two existing P.E. buildings. As this new construction is limited to a single utility infrastructure project and will not impact any native or undisturbed land and is located within the service area of the facility and is not near any campus perimeter boundary, it is determined that no environmental impact will result from this project.
